Empowerment and Encouragement for Youth

About Us

Children Having Opportunities in a Caring Environment, Inc. (C.H.O.I.C.E., Inc.) is an established 501(3) (c) organization in Brandon, Florida.

Based on our beliefs, in order for disadvantaged children and youth to be successful and become positive contributors to society, healthy relationships, appropriate services, and effective support measures must be in place. C.H.O.I.C.E., Inc., a Community-Based Group Home, operates on a continual basic 24-hour, 365 days on this philosophy. Our adolescent group home is Licensed through D.C.F. and serves youth ages 12 to 18, thus offering them a therapeutic and family-centered environment to transition back into the community with support.

Youths will attend local public schools, hold part-time jobs, and learn skills needed to reintegrate youth back into their home communities or to live independently. Youth will be able to participate in age-appropriate activities, clubs, sports, and youth groups to provide essential life experiences.
